Livestock were back in the pens at the stockyards here Monday and Congress of Industrial Organizations (CIO) livestock handlers and packing plant employees were off the picket line and on their jobs again after a twelve-day absence. Here are two pens of the 4,800 hogs that were expected in. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 28, 1946.
