Description

Livestock were back in the pens at the stockyards here Monday and Congress of Industrial Organizations (CIO) livestock handlers and packing plant employees were off the picket line and on their jobs again after a twelve-day absence. Four ex-pickets waiting at Armour's gate for calls to their jobs are left to right, F. A. Gilbert, George W. Laird, J. H. Key and L. A. Jones of Sanger. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 28, 1946.
