Description
Fort Worth Public Library is setting back gradually to a peacetime routine and making plans for its own "post-war world." During the war years and even since its opening in 1940 the room on the Library's second floor has been a haven for music lovers. One of the patrons C. N. Sze, new Fort Worth resident is pictured here. He is shown seated at a desk in the library record room, playing on the machine and learning the resources of the record collection. The young Chinese from Shanghai, China, is in the United States to receive technical training on an exchange program of the two governments. He spends most of his leisure time at the library. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, February 4, 1946.
