Description
Boy Scouts, members of Lena Pope Home Troop 8. Left to right, Pat Morton, Victor Young, Weldon Kirby, Ernest Glass and Joe Brite. The Scouts helped to move double decker beds, mattresses and bedding from the Service Men's Center prior to its move to the Hotel Texas. The boys are all wearing Scout uniforms. In front of them is a bed frame; most of the Scouts are also carrying pillows and other bedding items. Ki Aldrich (not pictured|| new assistant superintendent at the Home, supervised the moving.
