Description
Bronze bust of former Vice President of the United States and native Texan, John Nance Garner. He served as Vice President under Franklin D. Roosevelt from 1933 - 1941. The bust was made by Electra Waggoner Biggs and presented to Texas Technical College at Lubbock by Amon Carter, chairman of the first board of directors of the school. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 30, 1945.
