James Allen Jeter, infant, with his mother Mrs. J. C. Jeter. James was the first Fort Worth born in 1946. The husky infant arrived one minute after midnight at Saint (St.) Joseph's Hospital. Mrs. Jeter is laying in a hospital bed with her son in her arms. There are flowers on her nightstand. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 1, 1946.
