Three veterans are pictured here. They are, from left to right, Leland Spearman, Obie W. Norton, and James A. Bunting. They are three of the eleven men that traded in their military uniforms for a position on the staff of the veterans division at United States Employment Service (USES). Mr. Spearman served as a technical sergeant with a transportation unit of the 25th division in the Pacific area. He holds the Asiatic-Pacific ribbon with three stars and the Combat Infantryman's Badge. He is wearing a double breasted pinstripe suit. He lives with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Spearman. Mr. Norton served as a technical sergeant with the Medical Corps. He holds the Asiatic-Pacific Ribbon with three stars, the American theater ribbon and the Philippines Liberation ribbon with one star. He is wearing double breasted suit with a checkered pattern. He lives with his wife. Mr. Bunting served as a chief petty officer with the Seabees. He holds the presidential unit citation and the Asiatic-Pacific ribbon with three stars. Prior to entering military service he was with the United States Employment Service (USES) for six years. He is wearing a double breasted suit with a pocket square and smoking a cigar.
