Description
Wise County homecoming, Decatur played host Friday to families of 649 of Wise County's 1,900 war veterans.. Sergeant Thurman Rhine, left, his father L. G. Rhine, and cousin Sergeant Wayne Rhine. The cousins were also part of the "Lost Battalion" prisoners of war. In the picture you can see the cousins wearing their uniforms, Mr. Rhine is wearing a black suit, vest, white collared shirt, eyeglasses, and hat. There is a car behind them, a building and two American flags.
