Description
Wise County homecoming, Decatur played host Friday to families of 649 of Wise county's 1,900 war veterans. The only woman veteran to register, Army Nurse, Lieutenant Warren A. Tilghman,center, with Lieutenant Colonel Martin Crabtree, left, of Florence, S. C. who was on the first American Bomb raid on Europe and Major Carl Loveless, air force officer from the China-Burma-India theater. In the picture you can see them seating on a bench, the three are wearing their uniforms.
