Description
The flag-draped gray casket, bearing the body of Corporal (Corp.) James E. Newman, Japanese prison victim, is carried from First Baptist Church, where funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon, by an honor guard of six soldiers from Fort Worth Army Air Field. Soldiers are removing the casket from the church. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, August 7, 1945.
