At the close of the military services at the Garden of Memories, Chaplin Garrenton, base chaplain of the Fort Worth Army Air Field, presents the flag which had draped the casket of Corporal (Corp.) James E. Newman to the corporal's mother, Mrs. O. F. Newman, as Mr. Newman and grief-stricken members of the family look on. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, August 7, 1945.
