Shown here is Captain Seaver B. Spencer Junior (Jr.). He is standing against a bare wall, wearing military uniform and glasses. He is home on leave after fighting in both France and Germany. Captain Spencer, Mrs. Spencer and their 2-year-old daughter, Suzanne, were in Fort Worth visiting with his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. R. Q. Spencer. Captain is the son of Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Spencer Senior (Sr.) of Waco and a graduate of Waco High School, also, attended Texas A&M before entering the service. A member of the 1st Army, he received the Bronze Star. Captain Spencer will report to Fort Sam Houston August 18 for redeployment with the 104th Division. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, August 6, 1945.
