Description
Another example of how to beautify as well as clean up an alley is provided in this section of vines and flowers kept by Mrs. Pauline Tankersley, trimming hedge and vines in alley in the back of her property. She has a wooden wheelbarrow in the alley. Her section of the alley is a contrast to other parts of it. Neighborhood groups throughout the city are making an organized effort to cleanup alleys, yards and other premises where there are health and fire hazards. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, August 3, 1945.
