Description
Sergeant Cloyd Smith, is convinced that his 7-month-old baby daughter, Cheryl, knows him after his being away from home for almost seven months. Smith served with the 135th Ordnance Maintenance Battalion, 13th Armored Division. His troop train stops here. He is holding his daughter and his wife next to him, both standing in the parking lot. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, July 31, 1945.
