Sergeant J. C. Hardy, visits with his wife, Willie Mae, while his troop train stops here. Sitting hand in hand on a car step board, Hardy tells of the 135th Ordnance Maintenance Battalion, 13th Armored Division, which made the dash across France into Germany. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, July 31, 1945.
