Description
Novel and practical ideas for alley beautification are found in this clump of cacti, placed to discourage marauding animals, and the gaily painted garbage can owned by Miss Helen Ewing, 3212 Lamesa Place, chairman of the Fort Worth Business and Professional Women's Garden Club. Mrs. Ewing is shown working the alley with a hoe. There are tall trees and shrubs by the cacti. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, August 2, 1945.
