An alley so well kept it looks like a miniature park, and has served as a playground for neighborhood children for close to 20 years, is the one behind the residence of Mrs. Alice O'Neal. at 1629 Worth. Shown are Miss Carrie O'Neal, left, who has been the caretaker; her sister, Mrs. C. A. Pemberton of Meridian and the latter's her son, 6 year old Cecil Pemberton III. They are tending to the grass with rake and gardening tools.
