Description
Carl H. Mahoney, Star-Telegram linotype operator for the past 18 years, was elected secretary-treasurer of the Typographical Union, to fill out the unexpired term of Ted E. Wilkinson, who resigned to go into business for himself. Mr. Mahoney is a veteran of World War II, having served with the 46th Battalion, Seabees, on Guadalcanal. He is shown sitting at the linotype machine, wearing a collared short-sleeve shirt and trousers.
