Description
Credit for the job of keeping heavy wartime traffic moving over the Missouri-Kansas-Texas lines in spite of shortages of men and equipment was given by Lewis E. Pierson, new board chairman of the company, to his operating officers. Standing left to right in front of a railroad car are J. F. Garvin, vice president in charge of traffic; D. V. Fraser, executive assistant to the board chairman; Lewis E. Pierson and H. M. Warden, vice president and general manager. All four men are wearing suits.
