Description
The Lytle is in search of an unfurnished house in Fort Worth, Texas. They moved to the city ten days earlier when Mr. William F. Lytle was transferred to Consolidated Vultee from the New Orleans, Louisiana, plant. Due to the housing shortage, the family has yet to put a roof over their heads. Mrs. William F. Lytle and her children are shown on their daily visit to the housing bureau of the Chamber of Commerce. The children, oldest to youngest, are Patty (six), Betty (three), Linda (two), and Billy III (eight-months). Mrs. Lytle is wearing a dress and is sitting in a chair with Billy on her lap. The other children are standing around her.
