Description

Staff Sergeant Robert H. Martin, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Martin, is in Fort Worth, Texas, on a 60-day furlough from Ashburn General Hospital. Martin was a gunner in a B-17 in the 97th Bomb Group of the 15th Air Force. The 1941 graduate of Paschal High School wears the Air Medal with six oak leaf clusters, the Distinguished Flying Cross and the European Theater ribbon with four bronze stars. He is standing against a wall, wearing his military uniform.
