Staff Sergeant Raymond H. Goodwin Junior. Goodwin Junior is shown standing in front of an empty wall, smiling happily with his hands behind his back. The 20-year old sergeant, veteran of 35 missions as a B-29 gunner, returned home after 10 months at Tinian. While overseas, he was awarded the DFC, the Air MEdal with three clusters and the Asiatic-Pacific. He is a graduate of Paschal High School a former student at Texas Tech. He is the son of Mr. R. H. Goodwin.
