    Staff Sergeant Roy J. Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer H. Williams, recently returned from the European theater of war, and is spending his furlough with his family. Williams' three half-brothers, Private Johnny Parkins, Private Raymond Parkins and Pharmacist's Mate 2nd Class Pete Parkins, are serving in the South Pacific. Sergeant Williams is standing against a bare wall, wearing his military uniform.
