Description
The Texas Sectional Tennis Tournament, which will close out a seven-day stand at Colonial Country Club, is being rated as the best state tournament ever held in Texas. There are three sets of twins taking part in the tournament. Caldwell twin sisters, 14, of Longview, Texas, Shirley, left, and Sharron, are pictured here. They are shown seated outside on a bench, smiling and posing for the camera. Both are wearing uniforms, tennis shoes, and holding rackets. The girls are daughters of Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Caldwell. Their mother attended the meet. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 1, 1945.
