Patty Nixon of San Antonio, victor over Helene McCarter, Shreveport, 6-2, 6-4, won her way into the finals of the women's division, Texas Sectional Tennis Tournament at Colonial Club, Fort Worth, Texas. She is shown seated on a bleacher, wearing tennis uniform and holding a racket. Her next play will be with Margaret Varner of El Paso. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, July 1, 1945.
