Lieutenant (Lt.) Edward Wayne Doering, P-51 pilot who survived 5 days adrift in the North Sea and nine months internment in a German prison camp, exchanges smiles with his wife, Jane, with whom he was reunited at the home of his parents, 1204 Virginia Place, Fort Worth, Texas. Lieutenant (Lt.) is dressed in uniform and Jane is wearing a polka dot dress. They are shown seated in a outdoor bench near the trees. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, June 29, 1945.
