Description
Lieutenant Edward R. Stevens is a paratrooper infantryman of the 1st Special Service Force, American-Canadian Commando Outfit. He is a veteran of two overseas tours of duty and has been wounded three times. He is home in Fort Worth, Texas, on leave to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Stevens. Lieutenant Stevens mobilized with the National Guard in 1940. He has been awarded the Purple Heart, Silver Star, Combat Infantry Badge, and two battlefield commissions. He is shown standing against a wall, dressed in a military uniform.
