Three members of the 27th Battalion, Texas State Guard, were recently promoted. First Lieutenant Edwin H. Huff, of Company D, was promoted from second lieutenant in Company C. An employee of Morrison Supply Company, Huff enlisted in 1941. He lives with his wife and two boys, Edwin and Thomas. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 8, 1945.
