Clipping: "2 Meadowbrook Pupils Honored. Two graduates of Meadowbrook Junior High School who have been awarded American Legion citizenship awards are Marylen Bauer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ml J. Bauer, 608 Chicago, and Bob Gidley, son of Mrs. Edith Gidley, 1841 Provine. Representatives of the Bothwell Kane Post presented the medals Friday at a program in the school auditorium. Lt. R. K. Clifton made the address and Nat M. Kilson, post adjutant, made the awards." Published Star-Telegram Eve. Jun 1, 1945.
