Description

Technical Sergeant Glenn Bettes has been discharged from the Army Air Forces at Fort Sam Houston. He served nine months with the English in the 8th Air Force as a B-24 navigator. He completed thirty missions, and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and an Air Medal. Sergeant Bettes is a graduate of North Side High School. He entered the service in February 1942. He is married to Mrs. Anita Bettes and they have two children - Gene and Tommy. Sergeant Bettes is shown standing against a wall, dressed in a button-up shirt and trousers.
