Technical Sergeant Jesse L. Beene is a soldier in the United States Army. He is a member in the 9th Army thank destroyer unit. He was wounded in action in Germany on April 18 and has been awarded a Purple Heart. Sergeant Beene is the son of window Mrs. Lillie Mae Beene. He grew up in Roby, Texas with eleven brothers and sisters. He is shown in his official military photograph, dressed in his military uniform.
