Hosey Will Be Marine Officer --- After graduating from the United States (U. S.) Naval Academy June 6, Midshipman George E. Hosey, Junior (Jr.), son of Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Hosey, 2518 Lipscomb, will enter the Marine Corps as a second Lieutenant. A framed photograph of him, wearing uniform is shown here. Hosey, 22 was appinted to the academy by Representative Lanham. He was graduated from Paschal High School and attended Texas Christian University (TCU) before going to Annapolis. His family members will attend the graduation ceremony. After a two-week leave in Fort Worth, Hosey will report to Quantico, Varginia, for further training. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, May 27, 1945.
