    Captain Howard M. Fender logged 65 missions as a B-26 pilot, and has returned home to Fort Worth, Texas, to visit his parents. Captain Fender served with the 9th Air Force and holds the Air Medal with ten clusters. He attended Paschal High School and Kemper Military School before going to the U. S. Military Academy, where he graduated in 1942. Captain Fender is standing against a wall with a hand in his pocket. He is dressed in his military uniform.
