Heroes Talk To Workers -- Captain Harrold C. Atkins of Marshall watching Miss Katherine Ponder handle a casting for a five-inch naval shell at the "Heroes of Bastogne" party held by the American Manufacturing Company plant. Captain Atkins is wearing his military uniform and Miss Ponder is wearing a short sleeved shirt and apron and is holding the shell. She is wearing a glove on her right hand. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 17, 1945.
