Martha Shannon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Shannon, is winner of the two weeks summer camping trip to El Tesoro awarded as first prize in the Fort Worth Council Camp Fire Girls' recent doughnut drive. Miss Louise Fargher, local executive, announced. Martha, member of the Ta Ota Wama group, under the leadership of Mrs. Jean Sawyers, sold 700 dozen doughnuts to win the prize. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening Edition May 11, 1945.
