Description
Private Earl Ellison Oster, 19, killed in action in Germany April 3 while serving with an infantry unit, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Oster, 3310 Mount Vernon, have been notified. Private Oster had been in service since last August and overseas since February. He was a graduate of Polytechnic High School and was employed by the First National Bank before entering service.
