Description

More than 300 employees and officers of the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railway, their families and guests gave themselves over to sports and barbecue at their annual picnic. Miss Margaret Innerhofer, left, stenographer in the office of the chief dispatcher, mingled refreshment and conversation in the company of Dan O'Brien, of Cleburne, Texas, oldest active conductor on the Santa Fe Lines, a railroad man for 51 years. They are sitting on a bench with drink cups in their hands. Miss Innerhofer is wearing a dark short-sleeved dress with crochet detailing on the collar and sleeves and buttons down the bodice. She also has on a hat with a dotted Swiss bow on the back of it. In her lap is a handbag and she is holding a pair of sunglasses. She has a ring on her left hand and a brooch pinned at the bottom of her collar neckline. Mr. O'Brien is wearing a light-colored long-sleeve shirt with a diagonal striped necktie. He has a pair of dark trousers with a button fly and held up by suspenders. He is wearing a ring on his left hand, and is wearing eyeglasses and a hat.
