    More than 300 employees and officers of the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railway, their families and guests gave themselves over to sports and barbecue at their annual picnic. R. B. Ball, left, general manager of the road, acted as umpire of a women's baseball game and was rebuked for a strikeout decision by Miss Patsy Ferguson, right, of Handley, Texas. She is the daughter of Engine Foreman A. D. Ferguson. Mr. Ball is wearing a light-colored long-sleeve dress shirt with a star-patterned necktie. There is a pen in his shirt pocket. He is wearing dark dress slacks with a belt and a watch chain. Miss Ferguson is wearing a light-colored short-sleeved blouse tucked into the waist of light-colored slacks or a skirt. She is wearing a bracelet on her right wrist.
