Description
Firestone Textiles is hosting a luncheon and plant tour Thursday afternoon. Twelve military veterans from McCloskey General Hospital are guests of Firestone. Members of the Red Cross Motor Corps are pushing the wheelchair of two visiting veterans. Left to right are Miss Pit Steele with Private Kenneth Bennett and Miss Rosalyn Padon with Corporal Geo Foster. Both women are wearing their Red Cross uniforms. Private Bennett, of Indianapolis, Indiana is dressed in his military uniform. Corporal Foster, of Orrville, Ohio, is wearing a button-up shirt and trousers. Both soldiers are double amputees.
