Two students of the graduating class of Ernest Parker Junior High School, LeRoy Thomas, left, and Dorothy Mae Smith, were presented American Legion awards for citizenship. They are sitting in front of a bare wall. Mr. Thomas is wearing a plaid shirt and trousers and Miss Smith is wearing a floral print dress. She is also wearing a necklace, watch and rings. Miss Smith is the daughter of Mrs. Martha S. Smith and Mr. Thomas is the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Thomas. They are sitting next to each other and posing for a picture.
