Portrait photograph of Sergeant Robert N. "Red" Sheets, 22, who has been missing in action in Germany since December 16. He is shown wearing his military uniform. Sergeant Sheets is a member of a reconnaissance group in the 1st Army, went overseas in August, 1944. He is a graduate of North Side High School. He entered service May 1943. He is the son of Mrs. Gertrude Sheets. He has two brothers in service, King H. Sheets, technician fifth grade, and Charlie H. Sheets, seaman first class. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, January 21, 1945.
