Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Paschal, honored by special services at Lutheran Church. A man and woman sit next to each other on a couch. "Special Services Honor Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Paschal--Special services were conducted at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Sunday night for Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Paschal, 941 E. Tucker, who observed their golden wedding anniversary Saturday.After church services the congregation entertained the couple with a reception and a $50 bill was presented them by Ralph Eckert on behalf of the members. Refreshments and arrangements for the reception were in charge of the Ladies Aid Society headed by Mrs. William W. Coleman. The gold theme was carried out in the cake and decorations.Mr. and Mrs. Paschal were married in Madison County and have lived in Fort Worth for the last 40 years and have been members of St. Paul's. They have lived at the Tucker address for 24 years.A family reunion was held at their home Saturday night.The Paschals have eight chilren; two daughters, Mmes H. Turner of Los Angeles, Cal., and H. K. Tomlin of Houston, and six sons, R. F., W. G., G. J.,A. G. and W. H. Paschal, all of Fort Worth, and Sgt. H. T. Paschal of Camp Barkeley, who was home to attend the celebration.They have 12 grandchildren.Mr. Paschal is 81 years old and his wife is 69."
