Mr. and Mrs. James M. Connally, who were married December 2, 1891 in Indian Territory, celebrating their 53rd wedding anniversary at a family dinner party attended by three of their four children, C. W. Connally, J. D. Connally, and Mrs. D. L. Woodward. Another son, W. B. Connally will not be present. The Connallys have lived on the North Side since 1917 and at 2704 Roosevelt for 21 years. Connally, born December 30, 1868 at Spring Place, Georgia, went to Indian Territory in 1879. He and Mrs. Connally, born October 7, 1874, came to Texas in 1910. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 2, 1944.
