Description

Golden Gloves officials are preparing for the upcoming District Tournament at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. Pictured left to right, are O. D. Wyatt and Abe Martin. Mr. Wyatt is the director of the "working staff" of the 1945 Golden Gloves ninth annual tournament. He is dressed in a dark, three-piece suit. Mr. Martin is a football coach at Paschal High School. Martin is one of the coaches who is helping Wyatt in the organization of the tournament. The photograph was published in the January 11, 1945 evening edition of the Star-Telegram.
