Description

Golden Gloves officials are preparing for the upcoming District Tournament at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. Pictured left to right, are an unidentified person, Harry T. Taylor, and Superintendent R. D. Evans. They are assisting with the staging of the ninth annual District and State Golden Gloves tournaments. Mr. Taylor is the athletic director. He is wearing a three-piece suit. Mr. Evans is the superintendent of the Recreation Department. He is dressed in a dark suit and smoking a cigar. The photograph was published in the Star-Telegram on the morning of January 11, 1945.
