Technician Sergeant (Tech. Sgt.) Thomas F. Morrissey was with the first unit to set up radio communications on Attu and Kiska. He is shown standing against a bare wall, wearing a military uniform. He is spending a 30-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John V. Morrissey, at 2306 Park Place, Fort Worth, Texas. He was stationed in the Aleutians with the 11th Air Force twenty months. He attended Texas Christian University (TCU) four years. He will report to Camp Pinedale, Fresno, California for reassignment. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 8, 1944.
