Doctor (Dr.) Baker J. Cauthen arrived in Fort Worth from China to preach again at his former pastorate, the Polytechnic Baptist Church. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Cauthen, from Lufkin, Texas. His wife, the former Eloise Glass, is daughter of Doctor (Dr.) and Mrs. W. B. Glass. Doctor (Dr.) Cauthen and Mrs. Cauthen have a daughter Caroline, and a son Ralph. Doctor (Dr.) Cauthen is shown standing in front of a wall, with decorative molding, and a door. He is wearing a double breasted, two-tone, stripe suit with shirt and stripe tie. He has eye glasses. He moved to Kweilin in the unoccupied area of china to carry on evangelical and educational work. He served as a civilian chaplain to members of armed forces, United States. He holds a master's degree from Baylor University and a doctor of Theology degree from the seminary. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, September 29, 1944.
