    Description

Doctor C. W. Brown is the new supervisor of the Fort Worth, Texas stockyards office. He has been with the bureau for 24 years and succeeds Dr. W. L. Endsley who retired recently. Doctor Brown was formerly the Rio Grande Valley district supervisor for the inspection and quarantine division of the Bureau of Animal Industry of the Department of Agriculture. He was active in the campaign that doomed the fever tick in East Texas. During that period from 1933 to 1942 this eradication program cleaned up most of the ticky East Texas pastures. He is shown standing, wearing a button down shirt and tie. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, August 17, 1944.
