Disabled American Veterans (DAV). Department commander D. M. Perkins, left, and Sol Glickmann, chief of staff, right, both from Wichita Falls, Texas are welcomed to Fort Worth by J. B. Derden (center), state legislative committee chairman of the DAV. The visitors were guests at a meeting of Bluebonnet Chapter 20, DAV, Wednesday night at Hotel Texas. The men are standing next to each other with Perkins shaking hands with Derden. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, September 7, 1944.
