Private First Class Frank Burnette, 22, is stationed at Laurinburg-Maxton Army Air Base, North Carolina, as a glider mechanic. He was in Fort Worth, Texas, to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Burnette, at the same time as his brother-in-law, Carl A. McCurdy, who is also in the service. Private Burnette is standing against a wall, wearing his military uniform.
